SpecialSKU: TC-HAZ-90

Fire-rated hazardous materials storage container, 90 min

A compact storage module for substances that must not burn with the building around them: pyrotechnic material, explosives-related equipment, flammable and hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders, lithium batteries, paints and solvents, laboratory reagents. The envelope holds 90 minutes against external fire, the door opens outwards on anti-panic hardware and cannot be locked from inside, the air moves through mesh-covered vents and an explosion-proof fan, and the floor is seamless and antistatic. It is placed by crane on a prepared pad, connected, earthed and commissioned.

The module beside a person

Drawn at a representative configuration of 3,000 x 2,650 x 2,400 mm inside the published ranges: the fire door with its anti-panic bar and hold-open device, the low vent in the door and the high vent with its mesh on the opposite wall, the explosion-proof fan housing, the IP65 switch boxes outside, the earthing terminal and the flexible supply cable, on a paved pad. Open the door to see the shelving on two walls and the fold-down worktable.

Selected in a 2026 public tender of a Slovak state authority for storing pyrotechnic material.

Where it is used

What it stores

  • Pyrotechnic and EOD material

The use the module was selected for: pyrotechnic material behind a 90-minute envelope with no locking from inside.

  • Explosives-related equipment

Initiation and test equipment stored apart from the material, in a second module where the rules require it.

  • Flammable and hazardous chemicals

Chemicals that need a fire-rated store with explosion-proof ventilation and an antistatic floor.

  • Gas cylinders

Cylinders stored upright with the mesh-covered inlet low and the outlet high.

  • Lithium batteries

Battery storage apart from the workshop, with gas detection as an option.

  • Paints and solvents

A fire-rated store with a spill containment sump as an option.

  • Laboratory reagents

Reagent stock on three levels of adjustable shelving, with the worktable by the door.

FAQ

Questions procurement asks

What does 90 minutes mean?

The walls, the roof and the door hold at least 90 minutes against external fire, proven by a certificate from an authorised assessment body for the panel and door system used.

Why can the door not be locked from inside?

Slovak Decree No. 288/2015 Coll. requires it for a store of this kind: two security locks outside, anti-panic hardware inside, so a person inside can always leave and nobody can be locked in.

How is the air moved?

An inlet of at least 75 cm² in the lower part of the door, an outlet under the ceiling of the opposite wall, both covered with mesh no coarser than 2 mm, and an explosion-proof fan of at least IP55 on 230 V, switched from an IP65 switch on the outside wall.

What is delivered?

The module, placed by crane on the prepared paved pad, connected to the LV mains, earthed and commissioned, within 60 days of call-off, with the operation, maintenance and service manual and the electrical inspection report in the customer's language.

Can two modules be joined?

Additional modules are an option on request, so a store grows by the module.
