Heritage

Tanax Trucks a.s. was founded in 2000 with engineering tradition reaching back to 1997. Twenty-nine years of welded steel, paint, and intermodal handover. The legal entity is Tanax Trucks a.s.; Tanax Containers is the containers brand of the same legal entity. Registered office: Červeňova 28, 811 03 Bratislava. The company sits in the Tanax Group alongside Tanax Trucks (special-vehicle engineering) and the wider industrial portfolio. The container business shares the production hall, the welding line, the paint booth, the engineering team, and the documentation chain with the rest of the group. There is no contract-manufacturing layer between the customer's purchase order and the steel.

The Hall

The production facility is at Partizánska 73, 957 01 Bánovce nad Bebravou. Eight major capability groups under one roof:

• Robotic welding. Two Daihen FD-V8L robots on a 14 m track plus a Daihen FD-B6L 6-axis. Welder qualification chain runs MAG 135 to EN ISO 9606.
• Manual welding. Kemppi MIG / MAG stations for joints outside the robot envelope.
• CNC laser cutting. TRUMPF TruLaser 3040, 3.2 kW, maximum 20 mm cut thickness, table 2000 × 4000 mm.
• CNC press brake. DURMA AD-S 60400, 400 ton, 6050 mm.
• CNC milling. TOS Varnsdorf WHQ130 and WRD15 for large-envelope boring and milling.
• Horizontal boring. W200 HINR, 8.0 × 3.0 × 1.5 m envelope.
• Plasma cutting + plate shears. Plasma 3 to 15 mm plate on a 4000 × 1500 mm table. Plate shears up to 25 mm × 3150 mm.
• Sandblasting + paint and cure booth. Blast booth 8.0 × 5.0 × 3.0 m to ISO 8501 Sa 2.5. Polin AC paint and cure booth 7.9 × 5.0 × 4.9 m with 75 to 80 °C cure cycle.
• 3D measurement. FARO Arm Prime 10 for geometric inspection at the QA gate.

Every container family that leaves Bánovce passes through this line. Switching between ISO Standard, Office and Living, Sanitary, Special Purpose and Custom is a process question, not a capability question.

The Tanax Group

Tanax Containers is one of two trading identities under Tanax Trucks a.s. The sister identity, Tanax Trucks, supplies engineered vehicle bodies and special-purpose chassis work to overlapping customer sets (defense, public security, industrial OEMs). Operationally the two share the production facility, the welding line, the paint booth, the QA team and the documentation chain. From a buyer's point of view, the consequence is that any container delivered by Tanax Containers carries the same execution standards as the rest of the group's hardware.
