A sanitary container is plumbing, wiring and drainage inside a steel shell. It fails in the same three places every time, and all of them are out of sight.

Where a sanitary container fails
The steel shell is the easy part. Problems come from three places, all below the surface:
- Drainage and fall. Wrong fall means standing water and odour. It cannot be corrected after installation without lifting the floor.
- Corrosion in the wet zone. The shower tray and the area around the drains stay wet. If the surface treatment does not reach there, rust appears in the first season.
- Freezing. Uninsulated runs or an unheated tank mean the unit is unusable from November to March.
So a sanitary container is designed outwards from the services, not inwards from the shell.
What we build
The sanitary family covers washrooms, WC modules, shower modules, combined WC and shower units, laundry, kitchenettes and units with an entryway. Septic tanks and fresh-water tanks belong with them.
This family carries more catalogue products than any other, including combinations with an entryway and a kitchenette. Exact dimensions, tank capacities and weights are published against each product.
The structure is a load-bearing steel frame classified to EXC2 under EN 1090-1, welded under EN ISO 3834-2 production qualification.
A finish that survives wet service
The standard is blasting to Sa 2.5 per ISO 8501 followed by a two-coat paint system. The blast booth and the paint booth are in the same hall as welding, so there is no gap and no transport between welding and protection.
For permanently wet zones and for the undercarriage, hot-dip galvanising is available. It is an addition rather than the standard, and it is worth it wherever the unit stands outdoors all year and is washed down with a pressure hose.
Lead times
The same as every other family, because they run down the same line:
- Catalogue unit from stock: 1 to 3 weeks ex works
- Catalogue unit, new build: 6 to 10 weeks
- Custom build: 10 to 16 weeks

What drives the price
We do not publish prices, because on a sanitary unit the cost is mostly in what you cannot see:
- Number of fixtures. Every WC, basin, shower and urinal is its own supply and its own drain.
- Water heating. Instantaneous, storage cylinder, or a connection to an external source.
- Tanks. Fresh-water capacity and septic capacity.
- Frost protection. Trace heating and pipe insulation for year-round service.
- Surface treatment. Hot-dip galvanising against the standard paint system.

FAQ
Can a sanitary container be used through winter? Yes, if it is designed for it. That means insulated and trace-heated runs and a tank solution. Without them the unit is seasonal, which is a legitimate choice for summer service, but it has to be decided before manufacture.
Do I need a septic tank or can I connect to a sewer? Either. A septic tank is for sites with no connection. Capacity is chosen from the headcount and the emptying interval.
What is the difference between a WC module and a combined unit? A WC module does one job in a smaller footprint. A combined unit puts WC, shower and sometimes an entryway or kitchenette into one module, which saves both floor area and connections.
How is the unit cleaned? Surfaces are designed to be washed down with a pressure hose. That is exactly why the finish in the wet zone matters more than elsewhere, and why galvanising is recommended there.
Do you build laundry and kitchenette units? Yes. Both are in this family and are routinely combined with sanitary functions in a single unit.
