Trade vocabulary.

Terms that come up in container procurement. One or two sentences each.

RAL: European colour-matching system. Tanax stock liveries: RAL 3000 (fire red), RAL 5010 (signal blue), RAL 7016 (anthracite grey).
EXC2 / EXC3: Execution classes for structural steel under EN 1090. EXC2 covers most B2G work; EXC3 is reserved for high-consequence structural elements.
PIR sandwich: Polyisocyanurate-cored sandwich panel. Standard envelope material for office, accommodation, and sanitary containers.
IICL: Institute of International Container Lessors. IICL inspection grades classify used marine containers.
ISO 1CC: ISO container type code — 20 ft general-purpose, 8 ft 6 in high. Stackable nine high.
Sa 2.5: Surface-preparation grade per EN ISO 8501 — near-white blast. Standard at Tanax before paint.
