The brief
Brief
This programme is the active framework supply of containers from Tanax to the Slovak government in the defense sector. The framework was awarded as a multi-year agreement for the 2025-2028 procurement cycle. Deliveries to date cover steel, office/command, workshop and specialist container units, deployed to operational sites across the country. Follow-on orders are signed for 2026.
Scope of delivery
Scope
- 01Engineering review of buyer's per-call-off specifications.
- 02Material procurement under EN 10204 3.1 traceability.
- 03Fabrication on the welding line under EN ISO 3834-2 production-level qualification, feeding into the EN 1090-1 EXC2 chain.
- 04Sandblasting to ISO 8501 Sa 2.5 followed by two-coat paint to C3 corrosivity per EN ISO 12944.
- 05FARO Arm Prime 10 geometric inspection at QA gate.
- 06Transport by CMR to the receiving site under the call-off's delivery terms.
- 07Per-unit handover dossier. WPS / PQR sheets, material certificates, paint thickness reports, geometric inspection records.
Specification
Specification
Per-call-off specifications vary, but the dominant build under this framework is a hot-rolled steel frame with ISO 1CC corner castings, 1.6 mm corrugated body, hot-dip galvanised undercarriage for outdoor stationary use, RAL exterior livery to defense specification, EPDM-sealed double cam-locking end doors, marine plywood floor on hot-rolled cross members. A subset of the call-offs are office-fitted PIR sandwich variants for command post duty.
Welding qualification: MAG 135 to EN ISO 9606. Robotic welding handled by 2× Daihen FD-V8L on a 14 m track and a Daihen FD-B6L 6-axis. Manual joints handled by Kemppi MIG / MAG. Plasma cutting (3-15 mm) and CNC laser cutting (TRUMPF TruLaser 3040, 3.2 kW, max 20 mm) feed the line.
In depth
Outcome
Steel, command, workshop and specialist units delivered across operational sites within the cycle's first 12 months. Call-off pricing locked under the framework, slot retention held against the production calendar. Follow-on orders signed for 2026. The framework is a major reference deployment in the Tanax portfolio and the anchor for our positioning as a NATO supplier under AQAP 2110 and NSPA CAGE 4094M.
